Kalamunda Garden Festival

We will be supporting the Kalamunda Garden Festival on Sunday 7 October 8am-1pm.

We spend 90% of our time in the vineyard and 10% in the winery.

We know that the skill of making great wine lies in producing great grapes.

All good vignerons have an understanding or love of gardening and we are happy to support such a great initiative by the Kalamunda Plant Company.

Come and visit us at our stall at the Festival - we will be offering free tastings of our 2014 reds.

Hope to see some of you there.

We will be closed Monday 24 September 2018

Happy Queen's Birthday to you all!

... and a good time was had by all

bonfire_18(1).jpgWhat a gorgeous day!

We couldn't have hoped for better weather or a better crowd.

As my primary school best friend, Cas, said "I had such a lovely day, it reminded me of when we were kids - lighting fires and having tractor rides!" Good old fashioned fun.

It was great to see so many kids running around and getting dirty, not a mobile to be seen!

We really appreciated your support, generosity and thoughtfulness today.

See you again next September!

Looking good!

I think we will be lucky - weatherwise - again this year!

The ground, however, may be a little soggy so make sure you bring a change of clothes for the kids and shoes that don't mind getting dirty.

We spent a glorious day on Sunday getting the bonfire ready.

Here's our little daughter, Abi, getting pretty excited by the thought of roasting marshmellows on the bonfire!

See you on Sunday.

Bonfire party details

Most of you hopefully will have received our invitation to the Bonfire Party this year.

Details are similar to last year but for the uninitiated:

When: Sunday 16 September, approx 1-5pm

Where: 226 Aldersyde Road, Bickley

What: discounted dozens, bonfire at 3pm

Bring: warm clothes, sunscreen/hat, something to sit on (or not!), meat for the BBQ or a plate for the share table (we will provide the basics like bread and sausages, tea/coffee), marshmellows for the bonfire (!)

Sadly, our beautiful dogs, Oban and Zoe, passed this year so we no longer have any paw patrols for your kids. This means you will need to know where your kids are at all times as there are 2 unfenced dams on the property.

There will be tractor rides again - could we please ask that at least 1 adult hops into the trailer with the kids?

Our lovely neighbour, David, will be playing some acoustic tunes over the afternoon.

It's gearing up to be another great day!

See you then.
